The Grrrl Zine Library started in 2017 and has since grown to 900+ specifically queer and feminist self-published works. The collection ranges from late 80’s zines to current-day zines, with a diverse offering of social, political and ecologically concerned issues alongside art, culture, fashion, and music zines. We have a large variety of ‘perzines’ - personal zines about mental health, disability and physical health writing, art and photography.
The library has various ‘pop-up’ installation elements and can be loaned for events and exhibitions.
We are currently working on our digital archive, but the full physical collection can be viewed at:

Visitors are welcome on our Open Tuesdays at The Old Waterworks Studios, for further information and to book your spot click here.
A portion of the library is also brought along to zine workshops to inspire participants’ work and show the diversity of zine culture.
